About Me

My name is Jennette. I am a full-time wife, homemaker and a stay at home mother. I've been married to my husband for four years, and we have one daughter who is two, who is the greatest blessing of my life! I graduated with a B.S. in music from Brigham Young University-Idaho, but I soon realized too late that it wasn't what I wanted to do with my life, and wish (to this day) that I had chosen to pursew a career art.

About My Art

I think I was born to do anything creative, whether it be art, music, craft, or pure imagination. My imagination is what brings me to do what I do. It's very overactive, constantly going, so much that sometimes I talk to myself when nobody is around! My life is one big role play!

My love for all things fantasy started at a young age and I've never grown out of it. I've been drawing since I was a little girl. My mom started me in beginner art classes and while everyone would be drawing boring faces and figures and I'd be off on my own drawing dragons and dinosaurs. Creating an alternate reality through art is one of the reasons I love it so much. Art is an escape from reality, so I never draw anything 'normal.' It just isn't fun enough.

It wasn't until after I was married the end of 2006 that I decided to give my art another try and improve my skills (since I had been out of practice for years). I received my digital drawing pad for my 20th birthday and I worked hard to perfect that talent and understand the ways of Photoshop. I have been doing digital art ever since!

My goals as an artist are to have fun, improve my skills, create a world outside my own, and hopefully make money to provide for my family. I want to contribute somehow, so I might as well do something I love!

If you want additional information about me and my artwork, please read my F.A.Q.! :)
